NAB do not put pressure on candidates before elections, says Nawaz
ISLAMABAD: Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has asked National Accountability Bureau to not put pressure on candidates before the elections, he has called it pre poll rigging.
According to “Pak News” a federal capital based Accountability Court resumed hearing into Avenfield reference against former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his family members. Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz are present in the courtroom. Judge Muhammad Bashir is hearing the case.
Defense Khawaja Haris continued cross examination of prosecution witness Wajid Zia for the 10th time after which Maryam’s counsel Amjad Pervez is expected to begin his cross-examination.
Meanwhile, talking informally to newsmen, he said National Accountability Bureau should not put pressure on candidates before the elections.
He said people will not vote for those who change their loyalties, adding that, those who are loyal to me can be seen besides me in every up and down.
Nawaz Sharif said Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif took exemplary measures for the development of southern Punjab. According to “Pak News” sources, the ex P.M is now worried about the Nab’s interogations.
