According to Kashmir Media Service (KMS), more than 1,500 students from occupied Kashmir are currently studying in various Iranian cities, including Tehran and Ahvaz. “We keep calling the Indian embassy, but there is no response. They are completely silent,” said several stranded students.

A female student, in a video message shared online, appealed for urgent help. She revealed that an attack took place near the boys’ hostel of Tehran University, leaving several students injured.

She added that internet access is extremely weak in Iran right now, and other essential services are also failing. She made a heartfelt plea to the Indian government to urgently evacuate the students, as the situation is becoming more dangerous by the day.
