Conspiracy is Underway to Remove my Govt. I May Dissolve Assembly Anytime: CM KPK

Chief Minister of KP Ali Amin Gandapur stated that I have came to know that there are several backdooor meetings going on and political interference and conspiracies are surging to destabilize his govt.
In a recent video statement, he revealed that he has the authority to dissolve the provincial assembly at any time, and he might exercise that power if the situation worsens.
Threat of Federal Intervention
CM Gandapur warned that if the provincial budget is not passed, the federal government could impose financial emergency in the province. Under this scenario, the federal authorities could take administrative control of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, citing constitutional grounds.
He emphasized that certain elements are deliberately conspiring to bring down the KP government through political and legal maneuvering.
Budget Session Delays and Obstacles
The Chief Minister criticized the Governor of KP for not approving the summary for the budget session, which was formally sent by the provincial government. This delay, he claimed, is a tactic to create a constitutional crisis in the province.
In response, Gandapur has instructed government lawmakers not to participate in voting on cut motions during the assembly session. He explained that if voting begins on these motions, the process of passing the provincial budget will automatically commence.
Denied Meeting with PTI Founder for Budget Consultation
Ali Amin Gandapur also alleged that efforts are being made to prevent him from meeting the founder of PTI (Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf) for necessary discussions on the budget. He stated that:
“Consultation with PTI’s founding leader and obtaining his approval is a constitutional and political right. The provincial budget will not be approved until it has his consent.”
He accused the authorities of deliberately blocking this essential meeting, which he considers part of a larger plot to undermine the elected government.
“I Will Not Let This Conspiracy Succeed”
The Chief Minister vowed that he would not allow these conspiracies to succeed, stating that he remains committed to defending democratic processes in the province.
A Call to Action Against the Current System
In his concluding remarks, Gandapur declared that:
“We will launch a movement against this system. This system has become unsustainable and cannot continue as it is. We will not let such a flawed system survive any longer.”
